Our medical transcription students learn to use a dictation machine and then begin the first of five levels of medical language application. This is "hands-on" learning, requiring the student to produce medical transcripts of increasing sophistication as he or she advances through each level.
Meanwhile, the student is receiving instruction in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, disease processes, English grammar and punctuation, business procedures, professional development, keyboarding and word processing, software programs, and medicolegal issues. Our top-notch faculty includes graduates of such prestigious institutions as Yale and Dartmouth.
